These are made from best quality Bohemian crystal and are extremely hard.
These produce an extremely smooth finish on polyurethane, styrene, wood, brass, etc! Unlike metal files they can be washed with detergent and warm water or even put in the dishwasher!

Solder & Flux
We now stock two solder creams (179 and 138 degrees) that have proved to be very popular with modellers. These are the same as the C+L solder creams.

Model Mate
Now Available - Model Mate Construction Kit!
This kit consists of a Model Mate, a Right Angle Fence, a Surface Protector Mat and four clamps.
The base board is marked with scale feet and metres, actual inches and mm and
a grid pattern of 1 scale ft in each of the scales. Scales available are O (1/4"
and 7mm), S, 4mm, HO and N. Other scales are available by request.

Brass Wire, Strips & Shapes
A large range of brass wire, strips and special shapes are available.
Brass wire is 300mm long and sizes range from 0.25mm to 1.6mm diameter.
Brass angle, Tee section, channel, strips or flats and tube are available in various sizes all either 250mm or 300mm long. See Brass Wire & Shapes for details.
NBB Coach Body Available for $66.
A laser cut NBB coach body is now available. The body is made from marine ply with some styrene components. The photo is of a completed coach incorporating bogies from Ian Lindsay Models, wheels from Steam Era, a scratch built frame, running board, handrails, seats, etc. Transfers, underframe, seats and door handles will be available soon. The NBB kit is available from Brunel Hobbies. See Custom Laser Cutting below for a photo of the coach body kit itself.
For those who have purchased the kit assembly instructions are now available online - these have been updated on 13 April 08. (size 3.15MB).

Track Aligner - Range Extended Again.
The range of radii available has been extended to include track aligners for HOn3 (10.5mm gauge)!
These combine a track alignment jig with a layout template!
Each of the templates are designed to clip together end to end to enable more complex curves to be produced and to use them as a track template guide.
They are designed to enable the track to be pinned into position and the Aligner removed leaving the track in position.

Modeller's Cradle
This cradle will hold your locomotive, coach or other rolling stock securely to enable you to service, repair, detail or decal! It is a complete maintenance and service station for your rolling stock.
The locomotive shown in the cradle is the new PowerlineT class now available from Brunel Hobbies.

Custom Laser Cutting
Brunel Models provide a custom laser cutting service in acrylic, styrene, wood and card. The coach above is a Puffing Billy NBB coach in 1/4"/ft constructed from laser cut marine ply and some styrene components with a 0.4mm marine ply roof. This coach body is available in kit form for $66.
Custom Transfers
We specialise in the production of custom Waterslide Transfers/Decals
from original artwork, photos and/or drawings supplied by the modeller.
There is also an increasing number of transfers/decals available for all
scales and prototypes including railways, trams and tractors.
