Fit the slide chairs to the straight stock rail as indicated in the diagram below in red (marked with a P on the templates). To ensure that the straight stock rail remains straight use a straight edge such as a metal ruler. Next take the straight switch rail, ensure that the planed end, is free from any burrs and correctly shaped, slide the correct number of chairs on it (check the template for the number) and trim the first three or four on the inside (indicated in green below). You may need to trim the chairs on the curved stock rail as well. Fix and glue the straight switch rail, gauging from the straight stock rail. Solder a connection lead (wiring link) as indicated (as per Stage 1 under the vee). Your construction should now look like the diagram below.
